ERC20 Bridge by re:Software S.L.

Our ERC20 Bridge for dHealth is a cross-chain swap solution powered by dHealth Network. Using a smart contract that we built, users can swap tokens between two different blockchain networks, dHealth and Ethereum.

This project was worked on in a collaboration with dHealth Foundation, in an attempt to offer a trivial solution for the exchange of dHealth’s DHP tokens with Ethereum’s ERC20 token solution and wrapped DHP tokens.

What is our ERC20 Bridge?

Our ERC20 Bridge for dHealth is a Peer-to-Peer Swap Solution powered by dHealth Network. Using a smart contract that we developed, users can instantly swap tokens between two different blockchain networks, dHealth and Ethereum.

The popular smart contracts platform Ethereum offers several different token standards, amongst them is Ethereum’s ERC-20, which can be used to create your own cryptocurrency. With this dual-blockchain bridge, customers can swap tokens between dHealth Network and Ethereum.

We designed and developed a dHealth Wallet Plugin which communicates with a series of microservices that operate the payment processing on Ethereum. The payment processor is secured with on-chain multi-signature accounts as featured by dHealth Network. Swapping your wrapped $DHP to native $DHP tokens with our bridge takes less than 30 seconds!

Benefits of using ERC20 Bridge

Multi-blockchain bridge

Due to their isolation, blockchain networks tend to be unable to communicate with other networks that do not use the same technical base. Yet, the open-source nature of blockchain makes it such that developing communication bridges is possible. We do so, by mapping entities between networks and by enabling API endpoints that communicate with several blockchain crowds.

We have successfully developed and deployed bridges that connect to Web3 networks including: Ethereum, EOS, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, dHealth Network, Symbol and NEM.

ERC-20 token standard

As one of the most prominent token standards out there, ERC-20 stands for the issuance of custom tokens that are ruled by the ERC20 smart contract source code. Assets that use the ERC20 contract consist of: a total supply ; a map of account balances ; and a transfer capacity that can be executed freely using peers of the Ethereum blockchain network.

The pertinence of this open standard is not questionable anymore, with it being reproduced on sibling networks like Tron’s TRC-20 and Binance Smart Chain’s BEP-20. We help you make sure that your payments are secure and reliable.

On-chain multi-signature

For a payment processor software to be accurately secured, it needs to be governed by a board of operators. In our software, we developed an automated microservice that creates digital signatures for multi-signature accounts configured on dHealth Network.

This solution is highly-secure because it makes us of the peer-to-peer consensus layer that is inherent to the blockchain network; and because it does not use any third-party service to determine the state of accounts, i.e. it does not use oracles.
