dHealth Network by re:Software S.L.

dHealth Network offers a multi-tier architecture to enhance the integration of Web3 in healthcare and general performance for the blockchain network. Deploy blockchain networks that fit your own healthcare software’s needs.

This project was worked on in a collaboration with dHealth Foundation, in an attempt to offer a trivial solution for the integration of blockchain and Web3 with healthcare solutions used by patients worldwide.

What is dHealth Network?

dHealth Network is a peer-to-peer public blockchain network for healthcare. The integration of Web3 with legacy healthcare technologies is a demanding activity due to the many stakeholders that are at play in the healthcare industry. Nevertheless, dHealth Network has for mission to lessen the gap between patients and healthcare institutions by enabling self-sovereign patients data ownership, decentralized patient identities and distributed patients registries.

In the lot of all the features enabled by this blockchain protocol, are: multi-tier architecture for nodes, secure on-chain multi-signature accounts, custom token issuance, next-generation on-chain governance schemes, a distributed names registry and atomic smart contracts ; alongside the Symbol blockchain‘s PoS+ consensus algorithm.

This protocol offers the possibilities of Symbol and NEM, whilst also offering a standard and practicable technological base concept for Web3 integrations in healthcare institutions. Of course, all the cool tools, clients apps and libraries that we built for Symbol, are compatible with dHealth Network as well!

This software is built using C++, Boost, Mongo, ZMQ, RocksDB and GTest and released under an open-source LGPL-3.0 license in collaboration with dHealth Foundation.

Benefits of using dHealth Network

Plug & Play Plugins for dHealth Wallet

We introduced our dHealth Wallet Plug & Play dApps – small but powerful software packages to be installed in dHealth Wallet – for which access to key functionality is granted using a dual communication channel that links dApps to the dHealth Network.

Highly productive dApps Framework

The recently worked on dApps Framework by dHealth Foundation lets Web3 integrators and developers concentrate on their business logic rather than having them learn about the blockchain protocol and how to interact with it.

Configuration of our open-source components is all you need to start your own distributed app with dHealth Network. This framework allows for hosting distributed apps with maximal velocity and reliability.

Offline capacity for maximal security

With dHealth Network, creating signatures is a process that can be delegated. This means that you can perform digital signatures from a different device than the one that is connected to the internet, as to upgrade to maximal security for anything related with finances or operational aspects of your Web3 integration.

And what’s best: everything you do on dHealth Network is verifiable. Meaning, you can always verify the authenticity and integrity of data. Yet, the data that flows through your distributed app (dApp) can be completely private and encrypted to comply with privacy laws around the globe.
